Cut a piece of wood for the top.
Dimensions = 4 7/8" x 11 5/16"

Step 6
Sand all of the pieces and then join the sides to the top piece using a butt joint (definition). We recommend you use small screws, nails, or biscuits (definition) to secure the butt joint.

Step 7
Using the template provided on page 1, turn the Paper Towel Holder's rod on your lathe.

Note: Don't have a lathe? You can use a regular dowel available at most hardware stores. Click here for a tip on how to groove the dowel.

Step 8
Apply finish to the rest of the paper towel holder and rod.

Step 9
Mount the paper towel holder to the wall or the bottom of your cabinet. - Enjoy!
