A router speed controller is a must for working with larger router bits. (See our article on router speed controllers.) By adjusting the speed of your router you can reduce burning, tear out and the noise of your router. 

Simply turn the dial and adjust the speed of your router bit. This unit maintains constant torque by supplying more power to the motor as the workload increases. Use with routers, sanders, grinders, drills & 120v AC or universal motor 15 amps & under. Proper speed control reduces motor burnout and less wear on bits.

This router speed controller is designed to work with all 3-1/4 H.P. or less routers except slow start routers.
